Thresholds Mental Heath Agency (Internship, Spring/Summer) - Chicago
Thresholds External Affairs department seeks a spring/summer intern for a variety of fundraising,
marketing, and event-planning activities. Primarily, this position will play a major oversight role in
a new fundraising program, Road to Recovery (R2R). R2R is a summer-long fundraising initiative
where donors raise money for Thresholds through their unique wellness- and fitness-related activities.
Reporting to the Director of Development, this position also will participate in basic grant-writing,
social media postings, administrative supports, and public relations functions.
Established in 1959, Thresholds provides healthcare, housing, and hope for thousands of persons
with mental illness in Illinois. Through research, employment, advocacy, care, and housing,
Thresholds assists and inspires people with mental illness to reclaim their lives.
