Senior Planner/Economic Development Coordinator

The Senior Planner/Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Moraga serves as a project manager for complex planning projects. Performs complex and difficult planning services related to advance and current planning activities. Provides technical guidance and training to subordinate planning staff. Assists with developing and implementing long range plans, policies, guidelines, and regulations. Oversees day-to-day operations of planning counter and current planning projects. Provides guidance and recommendations regarding economic development.
Minimum qualifications include five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional planning experience involving general plan, zoning, subdivisions, CEQA and development services and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in land-use planning, urban planning, or landscape architecture. This is a full-time regular position with a starting salary of $80,208 plus benefits.
