Executive Director
The Downtown Lancaster Special Improvement District is accepting applications for the position of executive director. The director will be responsible for coordinating and implementing economic development plans based on a 10 year vision/strategic plan for the District in downtown Lancaster, Ohio as well as oversight and management of maintenance and beautification for the District. Applicants should have education and/or professional experience in one or more of the following areas; economic development and revitalization, business planning, development and management, nonprofit management. The director must be entrepreneurial, energetic, imaginative, well organized and capable of functioning effectively in an independent environment while connecting with business and property owners and community partners. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The salary range is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
