The Department of Public Administration (DPA) in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) (http://www.uic.edu/cuppa/pa) plans to hire a new tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level beginning in August 2016.
A strong commitment to an active research program, to excellent teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and to public service is expected. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to the department’s concentration in public management (including organization theory and human resources management) and to one or more of the program’s other core competencies:  nonprofit management;  financial management (including public finance); information and performance management; survey research methods; and urban leadership.  Candidates who can contribute to the nonprofit curriculum are especially encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have an earned PhD or demonstrate high likelihood of degree completion by August 2016 in public administration, political science, public policy, or a related field. Successful candidates will be required to teach a 2:2 load each academic year. Individuals who are members of a recognized underrepresented group are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University seeks to hire a tenure-track faculty member in Management to begin in fall 2016. We expect to hire at the rank of Assistant Professor, but have the ability to hire at the associate level. Applicants should have a strong interest in research on management and/or organizations in arenas that create social impact. These may include public or nonprofit agencies, hybrid, quasi- governmental, and philanthropic institutions, as well as networks and partnerships where the public, private and nonprofit sectors intersect. We are particularly interested in candidates with an established research record. Applicants should be interested in teaching graduate management courses, particularly in the areas of strategic management, organizational behavior, performance measurement and management, or policy implementation. Applicants must have or expect to receive a PhD in a field related to management and organizations before taking up this position.

NYU Wagner emphasizes the study of organizations and management and their intersection with public policy at the local, regional, national, and international levels. Current full-time Management faculty have diverse intellectual backgrounds, including organizational behavior, organization studies, sociology, political science, health management, and public and nonprofit management. Wagner faculty members collaborate with other schools and departments across the university, including the Stern School of Business, the Steinhardt School of Education, Sociology Department, and the College of Global Public Health.

The Center for Organization Research and Design at Arizona State University seeks to employ a postdoctoral researcher to work with ASU researchers on a project entitled "Institutional Design for Public Value." The project is directed by Professor Barry Bozeman, CORD director, in collaboration with ASU President Michael Crow. The postdoc holder will report to and collaborate with Bozeman and other ASU faculty and graduate students.

The successful applicant will have excellent writing skills and fluency with English, willingness to collaborate and work with teams. It is not expected that applicants will be specialists in public values theory or research but that they will have a strong interest in learning about public values issues in public administration and policy. No teaching is required for the position but opportunities for teaching may be available if desired. A doctoral degree is required but there is not restriction on academic discipline. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in producing high quality, publishable, academic research.

The position is for 9 months or one year, negotiable. The postdoctoral appointment pays $45,000 for nine months, plus benefits. U.S citizenship is not required. There is a possibility of extension after the first appointment. The appointment can be immediately but must be effective no later than January, 2016. The School of Public Policy is actively seeking applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position at the Georgia Institute of Technology's campus in Atlanta, Georgia.  The position is in the fields of institutional and organizational analysis and policy process, with a focus related to one or more of the School's major emphases in science and technology policy, environmental and energy policy, information and communication policy, regional innovation, social and urban policy, or ethical inquiry in policy research and teaching.  Our work benefits from synergies with the Institute’s tradition of innovative interdisciplinary research, as well as the Institute’s world-class engineering curriculum.  Basic job duties will include teaching, research, and service activities for the school.
