San Antonio engineering firm seeking experienced Land Planner for position with career growth opportunity. Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning or related degree.
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with analysis and planning of efficient conceptual site designs for mixed or single use developments, amenity parks, residential, commercial, K-12 and other development projects. 
  • Interpret regulatory codes, GIS data and client requirements for integration into site plans 
  • Utilize land planning software to prepare illustrative, presentation-quality materials for feasibility studies and marketing materials 
  • Research and review due diligence materials, as well as GIS & entitlement data descriptions 
  • Collaborate with Principals on planning 
  • Collaborate with GIS, Engineering and Survey departments for conceptual design 
  • Prepare creative land plans that maximize land assets and increase value to clients 
  • Assist with creation of entitlement schedules
Qualified candidates must have 3+ years practical experience in entitlement planning, project due diligence and technology innovation. Working knowledge of land planning software such as SITEOPS, design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Strong technical skills and enthusiasm toward creating new technical solutions a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as critical thinking skills a must. Must be able to demonstrate requisite skills via portfolio sample.
