Our Edmonton office has an opportunity for a Public Sector Planning Lead within our Community Development Group. Our planning team provides a dynamic work environment where there is always an opportunity to work on a variety of unique and challenging projects.
As a member of our multidisciplinary consulting team, you will: lead the public sector planning practice, lead all levels of project management and client relations, grow and diversify the public sector planning practice, play a pivotal role in contributing to the team's collective professional experience.
The ideal candidate will have the following: a Degree in Urban Planning or a related discipline; 10+ years of progressive experience in planning with a strong public sector focus, preferably within a consulting environment; 5+ years of leadership experience in a comparable role; Full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners; experience in public participation processes and business management; excellent problem solving, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; experience writing proposals and leading multi-disciplinary teams to win work.
