Research Intern

WBC has a full-time, paid summer internship position available in the Research Department. Primary responsibilities of the intern include:
* Entering data to maintain economic, demographic and other business indicator databases;
* Gathering data and generating tables, charts, maps and other content for WBC presentations, studies, and the website;
* Assisting with requests for information from companies, media, the City of Chicago and other partner organizations;
* Supporting the Business Development and Marketing/Creative departments as availability allows.
Qualified candidates are detail-oriented, with the ability to gather and analyze data efficiently and effectively. An undergraduate degree with coursework in economic development, economics, urban planning, public policy or related field is required.
