TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The Department of Public Administration, in the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at North Carolina State University (NC State), invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2015. We seek highly qualified candidates with a research focus and teaching interests in public budgeting and financial management.
Teaching responsibilities will be at the graduate level in the department’s PhD and NASPAA-
accredited MPA programs. The applicant must be able to teach our MPA public budgeting core course as well as teach our doctoral seminar in financial management and related topics.
Scholars with secondary field interests in Nonprofit Management and/or Urban Management are highly desirable.
Requirements:
A PhD in Public Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
Must demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence, strong quantitative research skills, and future research productivity.
