Data Collection and Reporting Specialist, UIC - Chicago, IL

Data Collection and Reporting Specialist  
50% position, flexible schedule 

The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) at the University of Illinois at Chicago has an opening for the position of Data Collection and Reporting Specialist.  This is a 50% (20 hours a week), benefits eligible position, with a flexible work schedule. 
This position devises appropriate and effective systems to collect, analyze and store accurate and consistent data from University and external resources for SCS functional groups.  The Data Collection and Reporting Specialist prepares reports to disseminate to local, regional, and federal reporting agencies.  This position also will create and maintain data dashboards.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration or a related field. Coursework or equivalent experience in program evaluation. Demonstrated expertise in producing reports from database systems.  Familiarity with conducting data analysis and creating report templates and other presentations.    
Ability to present complex data graphically. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and proven ability to manage and meet deadlines.
