AECOM is currently seeking an Urban and Environmental Planner to support our Sacramento office location. The candidate will have interest in Planning and/or CEQA/NEPA. This person may also be needed to support fieldwork, research, writing papers and report sections, project administrative support, logistical support for meetings and site visits, document inventories and file management. Ability to assist with outreach to Spanish-speaking communities is desired.
Required qualifications include:
· An undergraduate degree and background in community planning, urban studies, environmental studies or sciences, geography, or a related field.
Skill Requirements:
· Detail- oriented: a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment.
· Excellent communication and writing skills are critical.
· Ability to work on multiple, challenging projects concurrently
· Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
Years of Experience:
At least three years of work experience in community planning, urban studies environmental studies or sciences, geography, or a related field. A post-graduate degree in community planning, urban studies, environmental studies or sciences, geography, or a related field may be substituted for two years of the required experience.
