GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP: 25% Appointment Graduate College

Graduate Assistantship

The Graduate College is now accepting applications for a graduate
assistantship position of 25% appointment. The position requires
knowledge and experience in computer science, specifically: application
development, database maintenance, and network management. See the
qualifications section below for specific softwares and coding languages
that are necessary for this assistantship position.

EFFECTIVE DATE:
Fall 2010 term, specifically: August 23rd through December 17th, 2010

QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional-level of communication and organizational skills Required
experience with the following:
JAVA, Visual Basic, SQL
Microsoft: Windows XP, Advanced Server 2003, Office XP
Mozilla: Firefox, Thunderbird

Preferred consideration for candidates with Oracle 10G & Application
Express experience.

Required academic experience with the following computer science skills:
Systems Design Life Cycle
Relational Database Design and Implementation

COMPENSATION:
In addition to a stipend, this position affords a base tuition waiver
for part- or full-time graduate students.
