Job Description
City Manager - Buchanan, Michigan; population 4,681; Salary DOQ + excellent benefits. Located in SW Michigan just 20 minutes north of the University of Notre Dame; 90 minutes to downtown Chicago. Lake Michigan is just 20 miles from downtown Buchanan. 5-member Commission; $4M budget; 40 ft/pt staff. Ideal candidate will have experience in economic development, grant writing, Brownfield redevelopment, contract negotiation, and small town quality of life issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills mandatory.
