Systems Project Manager / Senior Developer is a senior-level technical position that will include project management, system architecture, database and application development, project team leadership, and aviation business process responsibilities. Project management duties may include writing scopes of work, planning and executing projects, traveling to airports and meeting with aviation clients, leading project development teams, and managing schedules and budgets. Development duties will include providing expertise in database and web application best practices, creating and documenting system architectures, designing and creating databases, writing code in a variety of programming languages, and mentoring junior technical staff. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, 10 years professional experience including 5 years experience with Oracle, SQL Server, ESRI ArcGIS products, and ASP.NET, and experience in architecting / developing GIS-based web applications using commercial relational databases and commercial mapping engines. Strongly desired are a knowledge of the airport and aviation industry, experience with the Adobe Flex and/or Microsoft Silverlight rich application frameworks, and BIM integration experience. This position may require periodic travel (1-2 trips per month spanning on average 2-3 days each) to Denver, as well as potential travel to other locations in the US and/or abroad.
