Research Assistant Position Announcement - Data/Technology Specialist

The Early Reading First programs in the Center for Literacy are designed to develop
centers of
excellence in Chicago preschool. We invite applications for the following position.
Research Assistant: 50% appointment with tuition waiver
Data/Technology Specialist
The person qualifying for this position will be engaged in the following activities:
• design of data structures & development of procedures for data entry
• monitor data input
• database management
• conduct analysis under the direction of the Principal Investigator
• maintain and update project website
• service the approximately 20 project computers and printers
Qualifications:
Proficient with relational data base software (Access preferred)
Experience with SPSS statistical software.
Experience with digital video a plus
