Who: Lawndale Christian Legal Center (LCLC) provides North Lawndale at-risk youth, 24 and under, with community- based holistic legal services. This highly relational and innovative model of holistic defense is performed by an interdisciplinary team of attorneys and social service providers working seamlessly together in the community to support, serve, and advocate for youth and young adults in contact with the criminal justice system. Who: Cure Violence Global (CVG) is a new start-up NGO, and led by Gary Slutkin, M.D., former head of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Intervention Development Unit, and Professor of Epidemiology and International Health at the University of Illinois / Chicago School of Public Health.
Cure Violence is a teaching, training, research and assessment organization focused on a health approach to violence prevention. The Cure Violence health model is used by more than 50 communities in the U.S., as well as countries ranging from El Salvador to South Africa to Syria.

The City of Raleigh, NC is searching for a dynamic leader with strong communication and collaboration skills to lead our new Development Services Department. Raleigh currently coordinates all development and building plan review and inspection services within our Planning Department. Due to increased growth and development and Raleigh’s commitment to providing efficient and quality services, City Council has approved a reorganization beginning July 1, 2015 that creates a new Development Services Department and a new position to lead this team.

Should possess good emotional intelligence, the ability to do more with less, bring creative thinking to all aspects of the job, a good sense of humor and not be easily discouraged, and of course great attention to detail.
Experience with an environmental or food organization is advantageous, but is not required.

Director of Finance + Administration
The Director of Finance + Administration will execute all aspects of day to day accounting processes as well as define the process and implement the infrastructure/systems needed to support EcoDistricts’ growth over the next five to 10 years. S/he will continue to build and manage effective and streamlined administrative/financial systems, including financial, accounting, legal, information technology (IT), human resources (HR), and physical infrastructure.
