The University of Illinois at Chicago seeks a Director of Timetable (Campus Course Schedules) to create and maintain the centralized academic course schedule.  The Director oversees the campus-wide course, classroom, and exam scheduling, optimizing classroom use.

Duties: Collaborate with registration, IT, and other campus staff to produce final class schedule and other academic publications.  Coordinate University course/class schedule. Determine and oversee adherence to production deadlines, and coordinate production of schedule data for Web site publication.  Oversee data management in the student information database including creation and maintenance of course, section, faculty, and space inventory files for required enrollment management and reporting.  Advise college departments on modifying course listings, adjusting enrollment limits, adding and cancelling courses, and providing registration code information and course classification for reporting.  Create exams schedule.  Coordinate assignments/changes to classroom space in collaboration with faculty, Deans, and Department Chairs.  Coordinate instructional space assignments for conference/entrepreneurial activity use.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Education, or related field is required.  A Master’s degree preferred.  Detailed knowledge of university/campus policies and procedures relating to admissions, records, registration, and curriculum processes.  A minimum of five years experience in higher education administration and information systems management.  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.  Organizational and project management skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
