Supplier Diversity Coordinator – U of I (Urbana)

What: A Supplier Diversity Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and coordinate aspects of the Supplier Diversity Program alongside of the Director of Procurement Diversity within the Office of Business and Financial Services to achieve the University's mission and vision for supplier diversity in procurement activities. Assistant Director/Associate Director, Planning & Budgeting - University of Illinois (Urbana)

Who: University of Illinois, University Office of Planning & Budgeting, Urbana Campus

What: The University of Illinois seeks an Assistant/Associate Director, Planning & Budgeting, to develop recommendations for new or revised initiatives, business applications, and data functions. The Assistant/Associate Director will design, conduct, and interpret new and continuing budget, institutional research, administrative, or academic policy studies. The Assistant/Associate Director will assist with the coordination of data exchange activities and in the preparation and documentation of the University's annual operating and capital budget requests and production of supporting materials required by State of Illinois budget review agencies. Project Coordinator - Port Authority of NY & NJ (Jersey City, NJ)

Who: Port Authority of NY & NJ - Technology Transition Team

What: The Project Coordinator will play a significant leadership role in the rollout of a series of new technology solutions for the 1,600+ member Port Authority Police Department. Building on the recent successful transition of the department onto a modernized, electronic crime and incident-reporting system, the coordinator will advance implementation of electronic motor vehicle accident reporting and citation writing. This work will involve project management, stakeholder coordination, and strategic communication tasks done in an office environment, as well as occasional field visits and observations conducted on-site at police commands in the NY and NJ area. This work will be overseen by the Security Technology group, under the Office of the Chief Security Officer. This is a full-time, one-year contract opportunity with the possibility to extend.

Graduate Management Assistant (Fort Collins, CO)

Who: City Manager's Office - Fort Collins, CO 

What: The 2018-2019 Graduate Management Assistant will be involved in research, analytical work, and managing special projects. This position represents a one-year internship. Responsibilities include: 
• Assist in the management of the City’s Service Area Request system, which involves frequent direct correspondence between elected officials, City staff, and citizens of Fort Collins.  
• Assist the City Manager’s Office in researching high-level issues of concern as they arise.  
• Performs entry level program analysis, organizational and administrative field studies, and statistical analysis of research data.  
• Reports findings of research or study to the City Manager or other executive staff and elected officials in writing and in person.  
• Participate in development and implementation of City’s Performance Excellence Program.  
• Act as a liaison between the City and the community at City events.  
• Attends weekly City Council and Executive Leadership Team meetings.  
• Attend meetings on behalf of or in conjunction with executive managers.  
• Plan and coordinate various meetings.  
• Attend skill and knowledge development events and/or conferences.  
• Participate in the City budget process by serving on the Budget Lead Team  
• Review, update and implement department operations policies and procedures; Other duties as assigned.  


Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in a field related to Public or Business Administration, Political Science, Social Sciences or closely related field. Applicants must have completed or substantially completed coursework toward a Master of Public Administration or closely related degree by June 2018.  

Benefits: $40,000 per year.
