A Long Walk Home (ALWH), a
national non-profit organization that uses art therapy and the visual and
performing arts to end violence against girls and women, is seeking a SOARS
Booking Director/Agent to lead our
Story of A Rape Survivor (SOARS) College Arts and Leadership Program in
Chicago, IL. This position will report to the Executive Director. The SOARS College Arts and Leadership
Program is comprised of a Story of a Rape Survivor (SOARS), an award winning
multimedia performance; policy workshops; leadership trainings; and public
lectures about sexual assault prevention and recovery. As an organization that has been
contributing to the movement to end violence against women and girls for more
than a decade, we are looking for someone with experience and interest in
anti-violence initiatives and survivor advocacy to help build this
program. Must have great organizational, research and communication skills to apply.
