Job Description
The University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning, and Development (SPPD) invites nominations and applications for an endowed professorship with a focus on state government and politics. The appointment will be made at the associate or full professor level, and will be resident in the USC State Capital Center in Sacramento.
Position Description and Qualifications:
We are seeking a colleague with demonstrated research and scholarly interests that will expand our existing strengths in state government management, institutions, public policy, and governance. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree and demonstrate excellent research and teaching records, with a capacity to integrate methods and insights across disciplinary boundaries. Preference will be given to those who focus on leading issues in the management of the public sector and the policy process. Our new colleague will contribute to teaching in our public policy and management programs in Sacramento and in Los Angeles.
