Assistant Director/ Project Manager - UIC

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR / PROJECT MANAGER

The Office of Facility Information and Management (FIM) within the University of
Illinois at Chicago is looking for an Assistant Director to manage the highly
customize and complex Archibus database and oversee CAD drawing updates and
archives. The Assistant Director is responsible for the successful completion of the
annual web-based space utilization survey and the reporting of this data to the
Office of Business and Financial Services for use in negotiating the Indirect Cost
Recovery rate for the campus. The Assistant Director will assist the Director in
completing various other internal and external surveys associated with teaching,
research and public service.

The Assistant Director provides expertise and training to campus units on the
maintenance and reporting of data, which requires knowledge of computer based web
software, Oriacle, AutoCADD, CAFM (Archibus), Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office.

Minimum qualification: Masters Degree in technical field such as computer science
and 5 years experience in database technical applications and training with 3 years
experience in higher education facility planning and management. Knowledge of
computer based web software, (ASP, HTLM, JavaScript), Oriacle, AutoCADD, CAFM
(Archibus), Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office
