The University of Illinois, Office of Technology Management, located on the Chicago campus, seeks a Business Administrative Associate to be responsible for assisting the unit in financial and agreement compliance processing and reporting for the following reporting units: Office of Technology Management (Chicago campus).
Responsible for reconciling all accounts and providing departmental support related to: finance, accounting, contractual agreements; reporting; royalty income distributions; license compliance issues; and other business matters.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a field related to the position; Two years of financial management experience
Strongly Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree or professional certification in the business field; demonstrated skills and ability to meet short- and long-term objectives and goals; outstanding verbal and written communications skills; ability to work independently in a complex environment; strong organizational and time management skills; exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the University and with outside corporations and organizations; at least three years of progressive work experience in fiscal oversight as well as business function; knowledge of BANNER, EDDIE, View Direct, P-Card, iBuy and TEM.
