Who: The University of Chicago Medicine's Center for Asian Health Equity is the only research center in the Midwest to address the diverse health care needs of Asian Americans and other immigrant populations. The Center builds teams that span disciplines and sectors across the University and diverse Asian American and other immigrant communities to address health disparities, translate evidence into practical interventions, conduct public education, and use data to inform health policy. A vital part of the Center's mission is its strong and sustained community engagement with more than 25 Asian American organizations across the Chicago metropolitan area. Through this engagement, the Center elevates Asian American voices and enhances Asian American representation in conducting and participating in community-engaged research. The Center fulfills a critical need to improve the health of these underserved populations to advance health equity.
What: The Director of Programs and Engagement will work closely with the Centers Director, Executive Director, and other senior staff in leading the administration of programs and development of strategic partnerships with community-based organizations, educational institutions, and local government departments, as well as the engagement with these key stakeholders. The role will help strengthen the capacity of and services for communities.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Programs and Engagement will assist in the management of Center for Asian Health Equity (CAHE) /Asian Health Coalition (AHC) staff, programs, internal processes, and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess the skills, creativity, and leadership to establish robust partnerships, implement influential programs, and optimize the passion and creativity of each member of our diverse team. Program Director - Energy Action Network (Montpelier, VT)
Who: The Energy Action Network (EAN) is a multi-stakeholder, collective impact network of leaders across a diversity of sectors - business, government, non-profit, utility, higher education, and finance – seeking to transform Vermont’s energy system to achieve the state goal of meeting 90% of total energy needs through efficiency and renewables by 2050.
What: EAN’s Program Director fills a central leadership role in the Network as we work together to transform Vermont’s energy system to one based on efficiency and renewables. The Program Director works closely with the Executive Director (ED), other staff, and Network members to provide strategic leadership, analytical underpinning, and backbone support to the Network. EAN’s work facilitates large-scale change by fostering collaboration among diverse groups in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. As such, the role of Program Director requires the ability to work with and across multiple interests and members to foster learning, collaboration, and innovation that advances our collective mission. It requires continually tracking progress toward goals, coordinating the efforts of organizational leaders with busy schedules, and an understanding of the energy needs, policies, and technologies that are driving change in Vermont and elsewhere. Specifically, the Program Director will have lead responsibility for program development and implementation including ongoing energy tracking and analysis and development and management of the Vermont Community Energy Dashboard. A mix of technical and analytic skills as well as strategic leadership are required in this position.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Cities of Service is hiring an experienced Director of Programs who will take its programming from initial concept to strategy to plan to execution. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience managing programmatic delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative, strategic, polished team manager who is excited to join a rapidly growing organization.
