Job Summary: Performs complex transportation planning duties and serves as a team leader on projects related to the development and implementation of preferential parking zones and residential traffic management plans as well as the development and implementation of transportation aspects of the City General Plan, Specific Plans, Local Coastal Plan, Zoning Ordinance and environmental review process. Requires: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is desirable. Three years of recent, paid progressively responsible municipal transportation planning experience. Possession of a valid Class C driver license.
