About the Corps

The Illinois College Advising Corps (ICAC) is a program of the University of Illinois that assists and supports low-income, underserved, and first-generation college students. Since 2008, ICAC has placed College Advisers in urban and rural high school districts in Illinois. Its mission is to increase college attendance and completion among our students. 
If you are interested in helping high school students and crave an energetic working environment, apply to become a College Adviser with the Illinois College Advising Corps!

Commitment

  • Summer training in Chicago 
  • 1 to 2 year service in an urban or rural high school in Illinois
  • Full-time position
