Meridian Consultants is seeking an entry-level staff planner/field assistant to help in various functions inside and outside the office. Experience and/or a familiarity with preparing CEQA and/or NEPA documents, and urban and coastal planning is desired.
- Candidates should hold a BA/BS degree in environmental science, urban planning, or a related discipline. The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years’ experience in government land use planning, land development/entitlements, urban design, and business development; strong communication, writing, and presentation skills are also required. In addition, the successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s license, auto insurance meeting minimum standards set by state law, and have access to a reliable vehicle for business use. Mileage will be reimbursed according to federal guidelines.
