The Department offers an undergraduate programme in government and public administration, as well as MSSc, MPhil and PhD programmes. Further information about the Department is available athttp://www2.cuhk.edu.hk/gpa/intro.php.

The Department is seeking a quality scholar for an Associate Professorship / Assistant Professorship in public administration.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in public administration _or_ a PhD degree in political science or a related field, specializing in public administration; (ii) a proven research record in the above field; and (iii) experience in undergraduate teaching.

Applicants for /Associate Professorship/ should also have experience in postgraduate teaching and supervision.

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially commencing August 2014, which, subject to mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation later.





Monthly Salary and Fringe Benefits

        

Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years or longer and housing benefits for eligible appointees.
