Data Analysis Intern at CNT Energy
CNT Energy is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide economic and environmental benefits to households, building owners and communities through energy efficiency and conservation. CNT Energy is experiencing rapid growth in three main areas:
(1) Dynamic Electricity Pricing and Smart Grid Development,
(2) Energy Efficiency in Residential and Commercial Buildings, and
(3) Community Energy Planning and Energy Information Center.
CNT Energy is an affiliate of the Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT), a 31-year old non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the development and perpetuation of vibrant urban communities that are both environmentally and economically sustainable, both in the Chicago region and throughout the United States.
Data Analysis Intern – Apply by Jan. 7, 2011 (Click for more information)
The Data Analysis Intern for the CNT Energy division will work on data analysis and data generation tasks within the Research Team. The Data Analysis Intern will primarily be responsible for using CNT Energy’s proprietary tools to calculate energy use intensity scores for buildings involved in current research projects. Other duties may include assisting in the development of the team’s Efficiency Analytics database and the research and development of methodologies for retrofit efficiency and savings modeling. The Data Analysis Intern should be prepared to analyze the datasets they create and suggest improvements in data gathering and analysis processes.
