POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, first shift
- JOB TYPE: Full Time (40 hours per week)

- BARGAINING UNIT: P-4 (Engineering and Scientific)

YOUR ROLE
The Transportation Planner 2 is a working lead position with responsibilities to conduct complex tasks in transportation planning studies, programs and related activities. This position will be located within the Support Services Unit and will report to a Transportation Supervising Planner or employee of a higher level.
This Transportation Planner 2 is a supervisory role which will go hand-in-hand with determining the priorities and plans for the unit's work. In this role, duties include but, are not limited to:
- Handling staff management procedures, including: scheduling, overseeing assignments, staff training, performance evaluations and more;
- Developing and make recommendations for policies and standards;
- Acting as a liaison between different federal and state stakeholders;
- Overseeing the development of integrated and comprehensive unimodal or multi-modal transportation plans, programs and activities for movement of goods or people; and more!
We're looking for someone who is savvy in data collection and reporting and will rely on this professional to assist with writing and tracking agreements including contract negotiations and budget-related items.
