Space Architects + Planners - Chicago, IL
We are seeking an Architect / Project manager with 5-10 years of commercial and residential multi-unit work experience – new construction and adaptive reuse.
We are a fresh, fast growing firm in the West Loop / River West area of Chicago. Some areas of specialization include residential architecture, including large multi-unit projects, single family homes, condominium conversions, as well as a variety of commercial projects (retail, office, restaurants and hospitality) and urban planning developments.

We are looking for a candidate that will be involved in all stages of the project, from initial client interaction through to preparing permit / construction drawings and construction administration. Team, time and task management skills are a must. AutoCAD proficiency, IL Architect License, great communication skills, Chicago Zoning and Building Code knowledge base, attention to detail, and a passion for architecture are all required.
  • 5-10 years of work experience
  • Illinois Architect License
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD
  • Experience with Revit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Construction Administration experience
  • Thorough knowledge of City of Chicago Zoning and Building codes
  • Experience managing 2-4 people
  • Able to manage 4-10 projects at a time
