  • County Executive's Office, County of WillSalary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year D.O.Q. Under general direction, plans, organizes, directs and coordinates activities related to the Countys transportation planning and its coordination with the County Engineer and Land Use Departments; serves as liaison between County Executive departments and County Board on transportation and land use projects with federal, regional, state and local agencies; liaison on county transit projects; coordinates the development and implementation of studies, plans, policies and projects to improve and protect the Countys transit systems; assists in developing County Transportation Plan and obtaining related grants; reviews and performs a variety of studies and prepares and presents staff reports; and performs related work as required.
Bachelors degree from accredited college or university with a discipline in Transportation Planning or related field. Three (3) years experience in the field of Regional (State, Local) transportation planning and coordination between entities. Knowledge of Federal, state, and local transportation funding programs, and advanced concepts, principles, techniques and legal aspects of integrated urban and regional land use and transportation planning, and multi-modal planning and implementation.
