Job Description
The U.S. Department of Education (ED), Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development is seeking an experienced executive to lead the Policy and Program Studies Service (PPSS). PPSS focuses on analytic activities across the entire spectrum of ED programs including early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, vocational education, student financial aid, adult education, special education and civil rights. As Director, you will be responsible for providing guidance and counsel to the Assistant Secretary in the areas of policy analysis/development, evaluation planning, quick turn-around studies, performance measurement, program improvement, knowledge management, strategic planning and special projects.
