Do you specialize in GIS mapping? Are you experienced in site planning and project design? Would you prefer to work both indoors and outdoors? Then apply to be a Planner for the City of San Antonio’s Parks & Recreation Department! This position will be responsible for planning for Greenway Trails and associated projects throughout the City.
A Bachelor’s Degree, valid driver’s license, and 1 year of planning experience is required. Experience with site analysis, trails or parks planning, alternative transit planning, and floodplain dynamics will be useful in this position. Major coursework in urban planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, GIS, or a related field is preferred.
