The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy seeks adjunct faculty in the Undergraduate Program. The candidate will be able to teach undergraduate level courses related to how planners intervene and affect the market, with a focus on land use zoning, congestion, housing, public goods, fiscal impacts, entitlements, and cost-benefit analyses. The candidate also will be able to teach content focused on feasibility analysis, financing of development and facilities, social services and community-based enterprises. Examples of possible courses include PPD 438: Local Economic Development and PPD 358: Urban and Regional Economics. The successful candidate should possess an advanced degree in a related field (i.e. MA or PhD). Candidate must also have significant professional experience in planning or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations.
