Trent University Assistant Professor Position

TRENT UNIVERSITY

The Department of International Development Studies at Trent University
(www.trentu.ca/ids), an interdisciplinary undergraduate department,
invites applications for a nine month limited term position at the
Assistant professor level. The position is subject to budgetary approval
and will commence August 1, 2012.

We are seeking a candidate with expertise in the political economy of
international development to offer courses in the following areas: global
political economy; global civil society; social movements; and the cinema
of development.

Candidates must have teaching experience and a Ph.D. in hand or near
completion. Applications will be welcomed from individuals with a
background in international development studies, sociology, geography,
political studies or a related discipline.
