The Department of Community and Human Services is currently recruiting for Community Services Division Director. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with a team of highly dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple housing and human services programs, a staff of 134, and an annual budget of $95 million. Oversee service delivery directly and through contracts with community based organizations.
Lead Division redesign and change initiatives in response to evolving circumstances and provide leadership, strategic thinking, direction and management oversight to staff of the Division. Build and maintain excellent working relationships and partnerships within and outside King County government, provide leadership in coordinating regional planning and funding, work to integrate a broad range of service systems across the county and address issues of equity across King County.
