Municipal Project Financial Planner
Bloomington, IL
We have an immediate opening in our Bloomington-McGraw office for a Municipal Project Financial Planner. Qualified candidates will administer and assist in processing various Privately Funded, State and Federal grant and loan applications and programs, perform project finance research, prepare project signoffs for review by various State and Federal agencies, provide demographic analysis, attend and participate in city council meetings, prepare and make presentations at city council meetings or other business meetings, and be able to critically analyze problems and identify solutions.
Qualifications include:
• Full-time position preferred but part-time hours considered
• Bachelors Degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Geography or Business and/or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis with Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Grant writing and administration experience, preferred
• Interest and knowledge in the renewable energy markets, focused on Wind, Solar, and Geo-thermal
• Willing to work occasional trade shows in the renewable energy fields
