Policy Research, Fair Testing Housing Coordinator - Roosevelt U. (Chicago)

Who: Roosevelt University - Office of Student Research - Policy Research Collaborative

What: the Fair Testing Housing Coordinator supports project management, research activities and administrative activities related to the “Fair Housing Compliance Testing” project.

Project management duties include assigning and tracking tester activities, and coordinating with project collaborators. Research activities include training and collecting data from Fair Housing Testers and supervising student research fellows in analytical tasks. Administrative duties include documenting tester hours, approving payments, supervising student research hours and developing and coordinating workshops and public presentations.

This is a one-year, full-time position, with the option for a second year. The position is contingent on contract funding. This project will also be carried out with staff at the John Marshall Law School Fair Housing Clinic.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the full-time Research Study Coordinator will be
responsible for operational project management of the research study. This project focuses on
reducing African American and Hispanic disparities in living kidney donations. Responsibilities
include: Coordinating data collection, analysis, processing; reporting of data, and assisting the
Principal Investigator in judging the validity of test data obtained from multiple universities. The
Coordinator will complete all activities by strictly following Good Clinical Practices and all relevant current local, state, and federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy and procedures developed by the Northwestern University Institutional Review Board. Applicant must have completed a master's or higher degree in a major such as social or health sciences or related field, with at least 1 year of research experience. Both candidates seeking full-time and part-time positions are encouraged to apply.
