Who We Are Looking For: Recent Graduates: If you completed a qualifying degree within the previous two years, you may apply. If you are a veteran who was prevented from applying during the 2-year period due to your military service, you may apply if your degree was completed within the last 6 years. Enrolled students: If you will complete your degree requirements by June 30, 2023, you may apply.
Duties:
- Realty Specialist: Performs a limited range of real estate work related to the acquisition of real property and/or the management and assignment of federally owned, leased and/or delegated space. Prepares and/or signs Acquisition Plans, market survey forms and reports, Price Negotiation Memorandums, Requests for Lease Proposals, Leases and all associated Lease-acquisition documents as appropriate and authorized. Is familiar with the Lease File Checklist and Guidance and the Leasing Desk Guide. For routine projects, provides technical advice and assistance to the Lease Contracting Officer, other business lines and project stakeholders, and customer agencies regarding the lease acquisition process and customer requests for space. Works with GSA project teams. Assists in estimating rent and other costs for accurate budget projections.

- Will be available to start work in August 2023.
- Have graduated within the past 2 years (or within 6 years for eligible veterans)
- Are U.S. Citizens (As a federal agency, all of our employees must be U.S. Citizens)
Conditions of Employment
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
If you participate in our Pathways Recent Graduates program, you will be required to:
- Receive at least 40 hours of formal training directly linked to your employment field in addition to soft skill training
- Serve a trial period, which will allow your supervisor to evaluate your conduct and performance on the job and determine if our appointment will become final
- Sign a participant agreement
- This position may require both written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish languages.
In order to be placed in a permanent position after completing the Pathways Recent Graduates program, you must:
- Meet the qualification requirements for the position you are being placed in.
- Maintain an acceptable performance under GSA's approved performance management system.
- Receive a favorable recommendation from your supervisor at the end of the program.
- Meet all the training and development requirements outlined in the GSA Pathways policy.
GSA is not obligated to make an offer of permanent employment to you after you have completed the Program.
Relocation expenses will NOT be paid.
