EDUCATION COORDINATOR (Portage): (35 min N of Madison) Coordinates educational services for Head Start children in a 5 county area.  Supervises teachers, reviews lesson plans, provides technical assistance and supports professional development of teachers.  Serves as a collaborator for 4K Programs.  Must have a BS degree in Early Childhood Education, knowledge of early childhood principles, developmentally appropriate practices and licensing regulations. INFANT AND TODDLER SPECIALIST:  Based out of Portage 35 min N of Madison. Coordinates home based services for Early Head Start children in a 5 county area. Responsible for the supervision and professional development of home visitors. Maintains enrollment and reviews home visiting documents.  Must have thorough knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children 0-3, the ability to mentor and train staff, knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards or ability to learn them quickly, and demonstrates the ability to work in a trans-disciplinary team. Salary: $30,888 to $34,112.  Travel within the counties and limited evening work may be required.  Full-time, full-year position; must have a B.S. Degree in Family Services, Early Childhood Education or related degree.
