The University of Illinois seeks a Business Administrative Associate to provide high level support to the Director of the Office of Technology Management. The Business Administrative Associate will be responsible for assisting with the leadership, development, organization, and management of an effective operational system for the Office of Technology Management. The Business Administrative Associate will independently prioritize needs and requirements to ensure effective, smooth operation of the department. This position is responsible for managing, coordinating and processing all key operational functions for the Office of Technology Management. These operational activities occur not only at the campus level but also with outside constituents. This position supervises and organizes the overall activities, services and support required for the Office of Technology Management to function efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration or related and two years of professional-level, managerial, business/office environment or related field and one year of experience which was at an administrative level.

Required Specialty factor for this position is: Knowledge and experience in project management of complex projects associated with extended time horizons. And knowledge about guidelines set forth I the following publications/resources: The General Rules Concerning University Organization and Procedure; University of Illinois Statutes; Policy and Rules for Civil Service Staff; Civil Service Statute and Rules; and Handbook for Good Ethical Practice for Faculty and Staff at the University of Illinois.
