Our CST follows up on EVERY shipment EVERY single day so you, the Transportation Consultant, can focus on driving sales and increasing your client base. Our CST team does all the dispatching of shipments, handles inbound phone calls for you, and any other requests that your clients may have. Our back end office also handles all the credit applications, invoicing, carrier rate negotiations, claims and collections. We have pricing with scores of LTL carriers across the U.S and Canada. While many of the LTL carriers you may have heard of, there are also lots of small regional and specialty carriers who can perform same day PU and DEL, blanket wrap service, white glove deliveries, container drayage, as well as FTL carriers. Project management, cross docking opportunities, supply chain management and warehousing are also other products we offer our clients. Regardless of the opportunity you bring to DTS, we can find an option for your client. Our TMS is one of our huge advantages in the marketplace for both our clients and our Consultants. Our proprietary TMS is owned and managed by one of sister companies. Our website, www.dtsone.com allows our clients to log in and get rates set up by you, the Consultant. We will teach you how to use our TMS so you can show your clients and set them up on autopilot booking shipments while you are closing your next account. Our clients have the option to use the TMS or they can call one of our 4 call centers around the U.S. for rates, scheduling or anything they need.

Our business model is based on each consultant building their own portfolio of business and managing the clients as they determine appropriate. Requirements:
Client Development: The Consultant will be a proactive individual driven for success. This position requires a minimum of 10 years experience in LTL transportation sales. Prior employment working for a 3PL or broker is also acceptable with 2 years experience. Excellent commission based compensation plan. Must have experience selling Transportation solutions. Utilize a consultative selling methodology. Able to prospect, qualify, close and develop new business consistently. Excellent negotiation skills. Ability to sell at the C-Level is a strong plus. Excellent people skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to be a HUNTER for new accounts is mission critical for continued success. Self motivated individual capable of working from a home office is crucial. Ability to articulate the DTS value proposition to prospective clients. Can effectively demonstrate our TMS system so client can utilize our technological advantages that we offer. Professional with a high level of integrity. Ability to clearly define their own goals and set in motion a process to achieve those goals. Makes effective presentations to clients. Having current accounts is a strong plus.
