PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Bay Area LISC seeks an assertive,” take charge” individual to act as our Administrative Assistant. This position has a work schedule of 20-25 hours per week. The position will work closely with the Executive Director and other staff performing general secretarial and office duties. Successful candidates should be highly motivated, well-organized, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with senior level executives.

Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will perform office management duties including maintaining office supply inventory, insuring operation of office equipment, overseeing filing systems, processing invoices and expense reports. There is responsibility for meeting planning, coordinating travel; and providing support for special events and meetings including, logistics. The Administrative Assistant maintains the office contact management system, composes correspondence and tracks program actions and consultant contracts. The position is also the primary liaison for vendors and departments at LISC headquarters.

Experience and Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a self-starter able to work with minimal direction, but who is also comfortable working as part of a team and possesses 2+ years of secretarial/administrative experience. Excellent communication, customer service and problem solving skills are essential, as is expertise with Microsoft Office and other technology. The ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and facility with managing multiple projects is required. An AA degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
