What:
- Support data-driven decision making and continuous improvement processes for departmental and organizational initiatives, by preparing and contributing to data analysis, responses on strategic issues, as well as preparation and sharing of reports, briefings, presentations.
- Review the existing knowledge management framework for efficacy and sustainability;
- Lead the department training strategy to organize and disseminate information and training materials to different teams and stakeholders.
- Support procurement and Board of Education approval processes for the Talent office by serving as the department liaison for the Procurement team.
- Develop materials for implementation of departments Continuous Improvement priorities as well as ensure adherence to deliverable timelines.
- Serve as an interdepartmental liaison and project manager for special projects with a focus on the Background Check Processes for the district.
- Design and implement an online case management system for background check process; technical and process integration with Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and other projects as identified.
- Identify potential risks to projects, implementing processes and tactics to proactively mitigate delays or obstacles to completing a project within required deadlines.
- A Masters Degree in public policy/affairs, nonprofit management, business administration, related or equivalent,
- 3 years of work experience.
- 3 years of experience working in the non-profit/public sector and in a union environment.
Chicago Public Schools (CPS) employees are required to live within the geographic boundaries of the city of Chicago within 6 months of their CPS hire date and maintain residency throughout their employment with CPS.
