Professor: University of Kansas Department of Public Administration (3) Department of Public administration The positions are expected to begin as early as August 18, 2010. Candidates should have a strong research agenda, a commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching, and a strong commitment to professional service. Required qualifications are Ph.D., or terminal degree, in Public Administration or Political Science expected by start date of appointment and demonstrated research and teaching qualifications commensurate with appointment. The University of Kansas Department of Public Administration is small and collegial, with an outstanding research and teaching faculty and strong nationally recruited students. The MPA program is highly ranked (5th overall) among graduate programs, particularly in the areas of City Management/ Urban Policy and Public Management. The department serves the main campus in Lawrence, as well as in Topeka, the state capitol, and at the Edwards Campus, located in t he southern part of the Kansas City metro area. Faculty support undergraduate, masters and doctoral education.
