IDOT Bureau Chief of Program, Project, and Safety Outreach; Deadline January 20

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is currently hiring a Bureau Chief of Program, Project, and Safety Outreach in its Office of Communications. Applications are due Friday, January 20 at 4:30 p.m.

This position will play a key role in building a new statewide outreach team for IDOT. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for public outreach to help create IDOT's external engagement presence. The bureau will coordinate stakeholder and public engagement activities on IDOT projects and programs, as well as key policy issues. Following the filling of this position, IDOT will soon be looking to fill Communications Outreach Liaison positions across the state (northeastern Illinois, Dixon/ Ottawa, Peoria/ Paris, Springfield/ Effingham, and Collinsville/ Carbondale).
