Salary: $6,114 - $8,546 Monthly
Reporting to the Director of Development Services, the Yuba City Senior/Principal Planner will coordinate large, comprehensive, greenfield specific plans and annexation projects; be well versed in all aspects of the development review process; and have the skills and understanding of downtown revitalization projects.  
This is a supervisory position and must inspire the confidence of the City Council and Planning Commission through concise, professional reports and polished presentations. 
Appointment can be made anywhere in the range, depending upon experience. 
Three to five years of experience (depending upon level: Senior or Principal) in urban/regional planning; two years or more in a supervisory capacity is highly desirable; a BA degree with major in city/regional planning, urban studies, land use planning, economic and community development, or related field. An MA and AICP are highly desirable.
