Under direction, the City Planner III will be a project manager for Chicago Landmark designations, including research and writing of designation reports, communicating with stakeholders, and guiding the designation project through legally-mandated steps with fixed timelines. The City Planner III will also assist DPD staff in evaluation of historic properties; and fulfill section 106 duties as required of a Certified Local Government.
