Undergraduate Internship - Supporting Immigrant Families via FSN Hotline

Title:  Internship - FSN Hotline Support

Type: Part Time (10-25 hours a week)

Location: Hybrid

Pay:  Unpaid, College Credit May Be Available
Summary: We’re excited to share an undergraduate internship opportunity with our Family Support Network Hotline here at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant Refugee Rights.

Our  Family Support Network Hotline Internship offers students the chance to make a real impact by helping connect immigrant families to critical services. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, supporting callers on a range of needs including:

  • Legal assistance

  • Health care referrals

  • Public benefits

  • Citizenship and DACA workshops

This is a unique opportunity for students interested in social justice, public service, immigration, or community health to develop their communication and problem-solving skills while contributing to a vital resource for our community.
