Program Associate (USAID/PLR), ZemiTek - Remote

Since 2007, ZemiTek has provided technical assistance, project management, information technology (IT), knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation, training and learning development, and institutional support services.

Position Description

ZemiTek, a trusted partner providing institutional support services to PLR, is actively recruiting for a Program Associate position to support the program management unit for this award. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the impactful work of PLR, supporting USAID's mission to foster global development and humanitarian efforts.

 

Position Type: Full-time, Remote

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $62,000 - $66,000 a year with the starting salary determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and education, in addition to budget availability. 

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance (US citizenship required)

Responsibilities

· Working closely with the program management unit for the PLR contract, provide contractual, operational, and financial support, ensuring contract compliance, staff and consultant support, and budget tracking.
· Collaborate closely with ZemiTek's support teams, including finance, HR, and recruiting, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Coordinate travel logistics for Institutional Support Contractors (ISCs), including reviewing travel requests, coordinating with vendors, processing travel approvals, and reviewing documentation for travel reimbursements in coordination with the finance team.
· Assist the finance team with reviewing and processing invoices related to travel and operational expenses.
· Work with clients, the Senior Program Manager, and recruiting teams to develop job descriptions (JDs) and scopes of work (SOWs).
· Provide subcontractor support, including assisting with recruitment.
· Support the drafting of project deliverables, including annual workplans and progress reports.
· Ensure proper management of electronic files, following ZemiTek's policies.
· Serve as a backstop for the Senior Program Manager, as needed.
· Support the recruitment for short-term technical assistance buy-ins, working with clients on SOWs, and assisting in candidate selection.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma with at least six (6) years of relevant professional experience OR Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience, preferably in administrative, operations coordination, project implementation, or Federal Government contract administration.
· Proficiency in Office 365 and Google Workspace.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to take initiative, problem solve, and respond independently to evolving situations.
· Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion, and supporting marginalized voices.
· Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work environments, maintaining productivity in a fast-paced, fluid setting.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (US citizenship required).
