Community Investment Programs Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Investment Programs Specialist will have primary responsibility
for supporting the training, technical assistance, outreach, and external
communications functions of the Community Investment department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with the
development and maintenance of external training and outreach materials
(e.g., workshop and training presentations and materials, pitch books, program
guides, product sheets, brochures).
· Regularly interface with
external contractors (i.e., editor, designer) engaged in similar work.
· Coordinate and support
webinars, land-based trainings, and other knowledge exchange opportunities.
· Assist with coordinating
Bank participation in and/or attendance at sponsored events
· Assist with the annual
Community First Awards
· Collaborate with CI
Strategic Planning, Policy, and Outreach team, Communications, and
Members and Markets to support targeted marketing and outreach plans to members
institutions and community organizations.
· Maintain Community Investment
sponsorship budget.
· Track and report outreach
activities.
· Primary oversight of the
Community Investment section of the Bank’s public website, including Metric
Stream testing and reporting; and provide assistance with, and final review of,
items posted to the website, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s style and identity
guidelines.
· Assist with drafting and
maintaining external communications (bulletins, advisories, annual report,
newsletters, project profiles, etc.)
· Maintain various mailing
lists for a variety of targeted communications.
· Report activities to, and
represent Community Investment on, internal Trade Association/Events committee.
· Provide general
programmatic support to members and sponsors on CI Programs.
· Assist with supporting the
Community Investment Advisory Council
· Occasionally assist with
operational aspects of Community Investment programs
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor degree, with a
concentration in Communications, Public Affairs, Urban Planning, or
Community Development
· 3-5 years of banking or
community development experience with emphasis on communications. Post graduate
education may substitute for work experience.
· MS Office - advanced
· Background and comfort in
working with online
